A lot of people have got some amazing weight loss results from juicing. Juices can be especially good in the first week or two and you are likely to see some impressive diet numbers in the early days.
Most people drink fruit and vegetable juices as a supplement to their meals as a way to detox or getting a lot more vitamins and minerals into their diet. Some people use juices as a short term way of losing weight by cutting out solid meals while still getting nutrients the body needs. This is known as a juice fast.
Almost all juices are also low in calories which means that the body is consuming fewer calories per day. As there are no whole foods this can lead to a problem of feeling hungry all the time. This is why most people like to use juices as a supplement to smaller, healthier solid meals.

These 3-day detoxes cleanse programs are hugely popular. It’s not hard to see why as it’s a good way to give your body a quick, healthy boost. After 3 days of juice detox, many people have experienced many health benefits. These health benefits can range from lowered sugar cravings to healthy, glowing skin.
3. Super Green Detox Drink
We can’t have a list of 5 juice recipes for weight loss and detox without the most famous of them all, the green detox drink. There are hundreds of variations of green detox juice and this one is a very simple and clean recipe I found on YouTube.
It uses fruits, (apple, date, and grapes) and mixes them with spinach and ginger for a body-boosting, fresh green juice. It’s an easy to follow natural Indian recipe.
4. Immunity Boosting Beetroot Detox Juice
If you are feeling run down and needing a healthy pick me up, this beetroot detox juice will give you a powerful boost. It only uses five common ingredients, carrot, beetroot, lemon, ginger, and apple.
5. Fat Burning Carrot Detox Juice
An easy fat burning carrot detox juice from Chef Ricardo Juice Bar’s great channel on YouTube. This weight loss recipe is best in the morning on an empty stomach. It uses carrots, ginger and either a lemon or a lime, depending on what you have available.
Detox Juicing Downsides
If you are having juice detoxes as well as solid meals that’s great. If you are juice fasting though there are some downsides and major problems.
Juices can’t provide all the vitamins the body needs and supply little to no proteins and healthy fats. The protein is a big loss as it can lead to muscle loss and bone weakness. Also taking all the fiber out of the juice can take a lot of the plant’s antioxidants away as well.
