Healthy Protein Smoothie
Continuing on our recent theme of blueberry recipes, here is a delicious and healthy protein smoothie recipe for you to make at home. It’s another easy to make smoothie that is great for breakfast or as a snack.
Ingredients – (healthy protein smoothie)
- 1 ripe banana
- 1/2 cup of blueberries (you can add a bit more if you prefer)
- 1 thumbnail of fresh ginger, peeled
- 1/3 cup raw cashews
- 1 tbsp chia seeds
- good dash of cinnamon
- 4 ice cubes
- 1 cup of liquid. Water, or milk, almond milk or coconut milk, etc.
Instructions – (healthy protein smoothie)
- Place all ingredients into a blender.
- Blend for 45 to 60 seconds until a thick, creamy and smooth texture.
- It’s so thick you could almost call this a shake.

- 1 cup water milk or other if preferred
